Alliance For Children’s Annual Pinwheel Project set for April 7-8

Part of the TCU campus will be covered in thousands blue and white pinwheels during Alliance For Children’s Pinwheel Project on April 7-8, 2014. The TCU College of Education, Department of Social Work and Institute for Child Development have joined with Alliance For Children to raise awareness about child abuse and other crimes against children. The Pinwheel Project will highlight the importance of prevention in observation of April as Child Abuse Prevention Month.

The Pinwheel Project will kick-off with an event held on April 7 at Noon on University Drive behind the Clark Brothers Statue. Speakers and workshops on child abuse, child sexual abuse, child trafficking, case studies, and child abuse prevention and awareness training will be held on April 7-8 on the TCU campus.

Specific information on the speakers, workshops and registration will be available in January 2014.
