The University will open at 10:30 a.m. Monday morning. Accordingly all exams offered on Monday will be offset by 3 hours and thirty minutes, i.e., the 8:00 am exams will be offered at 11:30, the 11:30 am exams at 3:00pm, the 3:00 pm exams at 6:30 pm. All evening classes will remain on their normal schedule for exams. If you have an overlapping/conflicting exam, or are concerned about the commute home, contact your professor as soon as possible to discuss make up options. For students unable to travel back in town because of icy roads, contact your professor as soon as possible to discuss options.

As ice melts on campus, beware of ice overhead melting off buildings. It can be dangerous for those walking under overhangs of buildings.

Employees providing essential services related to (1) health and safety, (2) the presence of a residential student community and (3) agreements with the public for the use of University facilities must still report for work at the regular time.

Services on campus:

  • Mary Couts Burnett Library will open at 9 a.m. on Monday morning and retain normal hours the remainder of the week.
  • The BLUU will open at 7 a.m. Monday for food service and will maintain normal operating hours.
