Employees providing essential services related to (1) health and safety, (2) the presence of a residential student community and (3) agreements with the public for the use of University facilities must still report for work at the regular time.

• The Mary Couts Burnett library opened at 9 a.m. on Sunday and will close at 5 p.m. Bistro Burnett will not be open.
• The BLUU will be open for studying or socializing until the building closes. Tables throughout the 2nd and 3rd floor and meeting rooms are available for studying. The BLUU will remain open until 3 a.m. Sunday morning (normal schedule).
• Market Square will close between 2:30-5 p.m. to reset for dinner and will be open for a limited time for dinner from 5 to 7:30 p.m. The menu includes chicken (prepared in different ways), pasta marinara (with veggie and meat sauce), vegetables and the salad bar. Students are encouraged to eat and then move out of the dining area to make way for other students.
• Football games will also be played on the big screen in the auditorium for a study break.
• Union Grounds will close at midnight tonight.

• TX DOT and Fort Worth Police are reporting that they will close highways in the area to clear the roads of ice starting at 6 a.m. Sunday morning. Avoid travel if possible.

• Sodexo will provide free coffee after Union Grounds closes to those studying in the building.

• The University Recreation Center will close at 9pm Thursday and will open from 10am – 9pm Friday.
• The Brown-Lupton University Union will close at midnight (instead of 3am) on Thursday.  Market Square will close at 9 pm Thursday and will NOT reopen for the Late Night Dining option. Union Grounds and Chick-fil-A will close at midnight (instead of 3 am) on Thursday.
• The University Recreation Center will close at 9pm Thursday and will open from 10am – 9pm Friday.
• The BLUU and Market Square will open at 7 am on Friday. Because fewer staff members could make it in, Market Square will need to close from 2:30-5 p.m. on Friday to reset from lunch to dinner. The BLUU will remain open until 3 a.m. Saturday morning (normal schedule).
