Everyone brought out their boots, bling and cowboy hats for the 13th annual Leap Frog for KinderFrogs held on September 24, 2013. The event set a record with net proceeds exceeding $274,000 benefitting KinderFrogs School including over $114,000 raised solely for student scholarships.
The western themed event was held at the historic home of TCU trustee Brian King which made for the perfect backdrop for this fall event. Kelly and Jeff Dillard were recognized as honorary chairs of the event while Debbie Horton served as the chair of the Leap Frog committee. Jean Roach was instrumental in preparations as founding chair of the committee and avid supporter of KinderFrogs.
Over 250 guests attended the event that included a live auction led by Scott Murray. The live auction featured items such as a purple sport coat, custom cowboy boots, dinner served by the Mayor of Fort Worth, a dove hunting trip and a sports package that included a suite at a Dallas Mavericks game, a 60” plasma TV, golf shoes and a football signed by Gary Patterson.
The Leap Frog event benefits the KinderFrogs School at TCU, an early intervention childhood education program for children ages 18 months to six years with Down syndrome, other development delays and a small number of typically developing students.
