The Chronicle of Higher Education has selected TCU as one of the top universities honored as one of the “Great Colleges to Work For” and because it scored well in more than four categories, it was also named to the Honor Roll.

“It is an honor to be recognized as one of the ‘Great Colleges to Work For,’” said TCU Chancellor, Victor J. Boschini, Jr. “TCU strives for excellence in all it does, and it is rewarding to be recognized for those efforts.”

The Chronicle of Higher Education surveyed a random sample of TCU employees who provided answers directly to the publication. Honorees were chosen based on responses to the survey and honored in one or more categories. This was TCU’s third time to participate in the survey.

TCU was honored in eight of the twelve categories including Collaborative Governance; Professional/Career Development Programs; Teaching Environment; Compensation & Benefits; Facilities, Workspaces & Security; Job Satisfaction & Support; Confidence in Senior Leadership; and Respect and Appreciation.

TCU is currently ranked in the top 100 Universities, was named as a Top 20 Up & Coming National University by U.S. News & World Report in 2010, and has a diverse student population of more than 9,000. TCU’s Board of Trustees continues to bring to fruition the expansion of the University’s strategic plan, Vision in Action. The expanded vision focuses on key areas that will improve the academic profile of the University’s students, increase overall student enrollment to 10,000, and the construction of academic and residential facilities.
