Neeley School announces professional certificate in Supply and Value Chain Management

Beginning in January 2013, supply chain professionals can optimize their on-the job experience with a Professional Certificate in Supply and Value Chain Management, offered by the Supply and Value Chain Center at the Neeley School of Business at TCU. Classes will meet on the TCU campus half day Friday and all day Saturday, twice a month, taught be respected TCU supply and value chain faculty. The certificate can be earned in as few as 10 months.
 
Topics include strategic planning and organizational design, analytics and decision models, project management, supply chain process innovation and renovation, managing complexity in the product life cycle, sustainability and reverse logistics, and global supply chain integration and partner management. Cost is $2,500 per module and includes all course materials, food and beverages.
 
“In-depth knowledge of the complex field of supply chain management is critical as companies seek to cut expenses and operate more efficiently,” said Dr. Morgan Swink, executive director of TCU’s Supply and Value Chain Center and professor of  supply chain. “By enhancing your expertise as a supply chain manager, you  will increase your value to your organization while helping to significantly improve your company’s bottom line.”
