When Chance Smith ’89 graduated from TCU, his mother submitted a couple of lines about his first job to the alumni magazine. “She was just happy I was working finally,” Smith said.

Fast forward 23 years and Smith has come back to TCU, in a big way. Smith’s company, local health care provider Bridgeway Health Services, recently established a corporate partnership with Roxo, TCU’s student-driven strategic communication agency.

In addition, Smith asked Roxo to be Bridgeway’s agency of record. This is the first time one of Roxo’s corporate partners has decided to work with Roxo on its advertising campaigns and marketing strategy.

Bridgeway’s generous gift to Roxo enabled the agency to purchase state-of-the-art new equipment for its student interns, as well as make necessary renovations to the agency’s suite. Students are now better equipped to serve their diverse client base, which includes MY Ride: Dallas (a project targeting adults with disabilities in Dallas County) and Lone Star Film Festival, among others.

“I’m so thrilled to be involved with the agency and TCU,” Smith said. “It’s a very exciting time to be a Horned Frog, and I’m grateful to help both Roxo and the TCU community make their dreams come true.”
