Dr. Becky Taylor earns play therapist license

Dr. Becky Taylor, associate dean of undergraduate studies and associate professor of counseling in the College of Education, recently earned the credentials as a registered play therapist and supervisor. She currently is a licensed marriage and family therapist and a licensed professional counselor and supervisor. To become a registered play therapist, the individual must have completed 2 years and 2000 hours of supervised clinical experience, an additional 3,000 hours and 3 years of verified clinical experience, and 150 hours of play therapy instruction and 1000 hours of play therapy experience. Additional experience and training are needed for the supervisory status.


The College of Education congratulates Dr. Taylor on yet another of her many impressive accomplishments.
