TCU launched the TCU Mobile app for Android platforms. TCU Mobile app is an updated version of “iTCU,” an iPhone application released in 2009.

The application was created as a way for students, faculty, staff and alumni to stay connected to TCU on the go. TCU created an Android version of the application to match the increasing popularity of Android phones. TCU has also changed the name to TCU mobile app to reflect the multiple platforms on which it is available.

The free application, available on the Android Market, features a GPS-enabled interactive map of the University’s campus, a directory feature, course information, official events, official news, images of campus, athletics schedules, and feedback to enhance the application in the future. TCU also offers a low-bandwidth mobile web page for all smart phones at http://m.tcu.edu.

Additionally, there is a free version of the TCU Mobile app available on iTunes for iPhones and iPads.
