The Princeton Review ranked TCU number 15 for Best College Dorms out of 377 colleges across the United States. More than one million students were surveyed to gather results for the ranking system featured in The Princeton Review’s annual book, released in August 2012. The Best College Dorms ranking is based on TCU students' responses to the survey question: "How do you rate the comfort of your campus dorms?"
TCU residence halls are all very similar when it comes to room specifications, but each hall has unique features. Most rooms are double occupancy, but there are single and triple occupancy rooms throughout campus. All halls have lounges for studying and socializing and all halls have laundry rooms. Most first year halls have double occupancy rooms and community style restrooms, while upperclassmen housing offers suite-style dorms and restrooms.
In addition to ranking TCU top 15 for Best College Dorms, The Princeton Review ranked TCU top 4 for Lots of Greek Life, top 14 for Best Athletic Facilities and top 21 for 2011 Top Entrepreneurial Programs: Undergraduate. TCU was also named a Best Western college by The Princeton Review.
