The annual TCU Cellofest,
featuring some of the foremost cellists and chamber musicians in the country,
is set for March 7-9 on the TCU campus.
The event includes
masterclasses, concerts, cello choirs and concerto competition with prizes and
performances. Jesús Castro-Balbi of the TCU School of Music is artistic
director of the Cellofest.
Cello faculty and ensembles
attending include those from Yale University, Boston Conservatory, UT/Austin,
UNT, Beijing Central Conservatory, Baylor University, California State
University, Berlin, Finland, and many more.
Tickets are priced at the
following levels:
Evening concerts:
$20/$10/free with TCU ID
Afternoon concerts:
$10/$5/free with TCU ID
All-access badge: $40
