Dr. Martha Salmon has established the Martha Hackley Salmon College of Education Teacher Scholar Apprenticeship in the College of Education. This will provide paid learning opportunities outside of the classroom for teacher candidates. This gift to the College of Education was modeled after an apprenticeship set up previously by the Salmons in the English Department—the Christine Salmon Gauthier Student Apprenticeship—in loving memory of their daughter who received her English degree from TCU in 1994.
Dr. Salmon serves on the COE Board of Visitors. She is a respected professional in education and serves in leadership positions on community boards and organizations related to education.
