The Neeley Entrepreneurship Program in the Neeley School of Business at TCU (www.neeley.tcu.edu ) is one of the best in the nation according to a survey by The Princeton Review for Entrepreneur magazine. Neeley is No. 25 on its list of Top Undergraduate Schools for Entrepreneurship based on surveys of business school administrators at nearly 2,000 schools. A feature on the rankings appears in the October 2012 issue of Entrepreneur magazine.
 
The annual list salutes the top 25 schools for their excellence in entrepreneurship education based on commitment inside and outside of the classroom; percentage of successful entrepreneurial faculty, students and alumni; mentorship programs; and scholarship and grants for entrepreneurial studies and projects.
 
“This ranking is the latest in a long list of accolades for Neeley, and it proves that we are committed to supporting the entrepreneurial journey of all TCU students,” Brad Hancock, director of the Neeley Entrepreneurship Center, said. “With the annual Richards Barrentine Values and Ventures™ Business Plan Competition, we take that commitment even farther by welcoming entrepreneurial students from around the world and rewarding plans for profitable businesses that exemplify service to their community and the world.”
 
The Neeley Entrepreneurship Program currently is ranked No. 9 in the country by Bloomberg Businessweek.  Last year, the U.S. Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship named the Neeley Entrepreneurship Program the best in the nation, and also honored Dr. Ray Smilor with the John E. Hughes Award for Entrepreneurial Advocacy. The TCU Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization is one of the most active student organizations on campus and has been named the best chapter in the country by the national organization. Taking entrepreneurship beyond the business school, the Neeley Entrepreneurship Center started the TCU Coleman Faculty Fellows program three years ago to support faculty in other TCU colleges and departments to teach entrepreneurial skills and thinking.
