The Academic Resource Center was developed to meet one of the Strategic Plan goals to enhance student services in the college by providing one-on-one advising, tutors and workshops. Zoranna Jones is the director. For more information on the ARC, call 817.257.6748.

 

Christina Rector has been hired as the new adviser for the college, and will work primarily with Communication Sciences & Disorders, Social Work and Kinesiology. Justin Gerstenberger and Cassie Thompson will continue to advise Nursing students. Kathryn Trimble from Career Services will work on a part-time basis with students to provide career counseling, resume writing tips and mock-interviews. Sybil White will continue to work with the ARC, to certify students for graduation and monitor NCAA requirements.

A Graduate School Fair is being planned for November for students considering graduate school. In February the ARC hopes to have an all-college job fair with employers.
