Bookstore hosts Harry Potter book release party

The TCU Bookstore will host a party Friday, July 20, on site for the release of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, the latest in the series by J.K. Rowling.
    
The party, from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., will feature four tents (one to represent each house in the book) with activities from the series. At midnight, guests in costume can display their “threads” in a contest and at 12:01 a.m., “Frogwarts” doors will open and allow guests to purchase the book. For those who cannot attend, the bookstore will also be taking pre-orders this week.
