Theatre TCU moves to Scott Theatre in the Fort Worth Community Arts Center, 1300 Gendy Street, for their upcoming production of the Cole Porter musical "Anything Goes." The show will be at 7:30 p.m. April 12-14 and 2:30 p.m. April 15.Tickets are $10 and available through the box office reservations line at 817-257-5770.
The large scale of this production was a factor in relocating "Anything Goes" to an off-campus venue, according to Harry Parker, chair of the TCU Theatre Department. "Doing our show at Scott Theatre has a number of other advantages," he adds, "including getting Theatre TCU into the city's acclaimed Cultural District and performing in one of the city's best theaters and most storied venues. Dozens of Theatre TCU productions have been staged there through the years."
