Theatre TCU and Circle Theatre in downtown Fort Worth are collaborating to stage the William Inge play Bus Stop, which opened Nov. 3 and runs through Dec. 2. Dallas Morning News theater critic Lawson Taitte calls the production of this particular play “as good as you are ever likely to see.”

The venue is Circle Theatre, located at 230 W. 4th Street downtown in Sundance Square.

Harry Parker, chair of the TCU theatre department, is director of the production which features three TCU students among the 11-member cast. They are junior Jessica Broadaway from Little Rock AR, sophomore Andrew Milbourn from Overland Park, KS, and sophomore Laura Campbell from Fargo, ND.

Reviewer Taitte notes, “Mr. Milbourn and Ms. Broadaway are closer in age to the characters they play than you’d usually see in a professional production, and that helps them embody the innocence hiding under the facades of bully boy Bo and temptress Cherie.”

Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, 8 p.m. Fridays, 3 and 6 p.m. Saturdays. Tickets, priced from $18-$28, are available by calling the box office at 817-877-3040.
