The 2011 Leap Frog event was a tremendous success, resulting in over $200,000 raised for the KinderFrogs school. Breathtaking sunset views from the terrace of Dan Lowrances’s beautiful home were enjoyed by the 175 patrons in attendance. Guests were warmly greeted as they entered the Lowrance home with sounds from the TCU jazz quartet. Heart-warming and personal remarks were made by KinderFrog parents Thresa Lohmann and John Sommers, who spoke about how KinderFrogs has made a difference in their son’s life and how school director Marilyn Tolbert brought them hope as to their son’s abilities. Scott Murray, broadcast journalist and award-winning sports anchor, was the auctioneer for the evening event. The live auction ended on a high note with the spontaneous addition of a pool dunking of Provost Nowell Donovan, who was joined by Chancellor Victor Boschini for the big dip. This was a Leap Frog event that will be remembered for years to come!
