Social networking sites and personal relationships class offered

Dr. Andrew Ledbetter, assistant professor in Communication Studies, currently is teaching a new advanced seminar course titled "Social Networking Sites and Personal Relationships." In this course, students explore both the historical roots of such sites in previous communication technologies, as well as current developments in mobile phones, social networks and virtual environments and the effects on interpersonal relationships.
