About the Green Honors Chair Program:
The Green Honors Chair program was designed to bring distinguished
scholars, scientists, writers and other professionals to the TCU campus for
short visits. The program is shared by almost every college and department on
campus and provides new ideas and stimulation for faculty, staff and students. Each
department within a school has the opportunity to invite a Green Chair every
three years. The late Cecil H. and Ida Green, TCU benefactors, endowed the
program in 1969.
