Nine Beethoven concerts remain in PianoTexas series

PianoTexas International Academy & Festival will unfold on the TCU campus June 2-28, featuring performances by Cliburn Competition medalists and other world-recognized pianists along with three concerts by the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra under the baton of FWSO conductor Miguel Harth-Bedoya. The legendary Leon Fleisher will conduct the final performance on June 28.This year marks the 30th anniversary of this signature musical event, founded by TCU piano professor Tamás Ungar In celebration of that milestone, all 32 Beethoven sonatas will be performed during the course of PianoTexas.
Guests artists arriving to perform solo concerts (while also serving as faculty in daily sessions with aspiring young professionals) include: John O’Conor, John Lill, Antti Siirala , Paul Badura-Skoda, Malcolm Bilson, Adam Golka, John Owings and Christopher Taylor.
It's an event not to be missed by anyone who loves and appreciates fine music, especially since daily recitals by non-professionals are free and all events, including master classes with the guest artists, are open for the public to observe.
