David Minor named Founder Emeritus of Neeley Entrepreneurship Center

David Minor has been named Founder Emeritus of the Neeley Entrepreneurship Center at the Neeley School of Business at TCU. Minor, who was hired as the first director of the Neeley Entrepreneurship Center in January 2000, is leaving his fulltime position as William M. Dickey Entrepreneur in Residence to become more involved in his company, The Landscape Partners, and pursue other entrepreneurial endeavors.

“I’m honored by this recognition. Being part of TCU these past eleven years and helping create the entrepreneurship program has been very rewarding,” Minor said. “It really was an entrepreneurial experience in itself, and that entrepreneurial thinking is continuing under Dean Homer Erekson and Director Brad Hancock with some innovative and exciting new programs. Although I will be pursuing new ventures of my own, I definitely plan on staying involved with TCU and the entrepreneurship program in a voluntary capacity for many years to come.”

Since 2000, the entrepreneurship program has been recognized by Entrepreneur magazine, U.S. News & World Report, Fortune Small Business, and Nasdaq as one of the best entrepreneurship programs in the country.

“We would not have the successful entrepreneurship program we have today without David,” said Homer Erekson, John V. Roach Dean of the Neeley School. “His own success as an entrepreneur has inspired countless students at TCU.”
