Merrill Lynch executive Bob McCann to speak at TCU

Bob McCann, executive vice president of Merrill Lynch & Co. Inc., is the featured speaker at the Neeley School of Business’ Charles Tandy Executive Speaker Series Tuesday, April 11. The event takes place 7-8:30 a.m. at TCU’s Dee J. Kelly Alumni & Visitors Center, located at 2820 Stadium Drive. Tickets are $20 each, which includes a full breakfast. He has held a series of positions with increasing responsibility since joining Merrill Lynch in 1982 as an associate in the MBA Sales & Trading program. From August 2003 until June 2005, he served as vice chairman of the firm’s Wealth Management Group, overseeing Global Private Client, Merrill Lynch Investment Managers and Global Securities Research and Economics.
In addition to being executive vice president, he is vice chairman and president of the firm’s Global Private Client Group, which provides investment, insurance, banking and retirement services for individuals and businesses globally. With more than 14,000 financial advisors and $1.3 trillion in client assets, it is the largest business of its kind in the world. McCann also is a member of the firm’s executive management and operating committees.
