Harris College of Nursing and Health Sciences hosting Student Research Symposium April 15

Graduate and undergraduate students in the Harris College of Nursing & Health Sciences are presenting their research at the 7th Annual Student Research Symposium on Thursday, April 15. Presentations will be based on new research findings, translational research, or research in progress. Presentations will provide new data or information pertaining to disciplines or clinical practice within the College.During the Symposium on April 15, research will be displayed and judged between 1 and 3 p.m. followed by the awards presentation from 3 to 4 p.m. The Symposium will be held in Campus Recreation’s Special Events Room.
“The Harris College Research Symposium provides students the opportunity to develop skills, knowledge and self-confidence in conducting and presenting their research in a professional venue, which will increase their preparedness for graduate school and professional employment,” said Dr. Debbie Rhea, associate dean of research in Harris College and chair of the Harris College of Nursing & Health Sciences Student Research Symposium.
