Free seasonal flu shots offered to TCU community

TCU recently received nearly 2,000 doses of seasonal flu vaccine. The University will administer the seasonal flu shots to campus members interested in receiving one Friday, Oct. 23 in TCU’s Campus Recreation Center in the Multi-Purpose room adjacent to the lobby from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. If you are interested in receiving the seasonal flu shot, please bring your TCU ID and wear a short-sleeved shirt as this will speed up the process. Everyone receiving a shot will be asked to fill out a form. As stated earlier, manufacturers of the vaccine encountered distribution challenges resulting in fewer doses earlier last month.  TCU recently received more of its allotted over the past couple of weeks.
