Nursing students organize Health Fair for April 24

Harris College of Nursing & Health Sciences, in collaboration with the TCU Wellness Committee, is hosting a TCU Connections Health Fair on April 24 from 10a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the University Rec Center, (Multi-purpose Room 1). The event is being organized by nursing students in the public health practicum. There will be door prizes and refreshments.

Based on information received from the TCU Wellness Committee, the fair has been tailored to address issues TCU employees indicated are important to them such as diabetes, obesity, stress management, and heart issues. At the event, nursing students will provide various resources and tool kits concerning access to a variety of healthcare resources for those with limited or no health care coverage.
