"Marketing in a Tight Economy" to be presented March 13 at TCU

Ajay K. Kohli, professor of marketing at Georgia Tech College of Management, will be the featured speaker on Friday, March 13, 7:30-9:00 a.m., Room 104 in Smith Hall, Neeley School of Business, 2900 Lubbock, on the TCU campus. Register online at www.neeley.tcu.edu.Dr. Kohli will be the recipient of the Neeley School of Business’ 2009 Dyess Lectureship in Marketing, an annual event which brings to the TCU campus the leading minds in marketing today, to share knowledge and insight with TCU business students, faculty and area business leaders.
Dr. Kohli is well known for his work on market orientation, customer solutions, market signaling, customer relationships, sales management, brand management, and organizational buying. He is editor of the Journal of Marketing, the premier broad-based academic journal in marketing. His research has received several awards, including the Alpha Kappa Psi award for contribution to marketing practice, and the inaugural Sheth Foundation/Journal of Marketing award for long-term impact on marketing. Dr. Kohli is among the 100 most cited authors in the fields of business and economics combined. He holds the Gary T. and Elizabeth R. Jones Chair at Georgia Tech.
