Campus will test TCU ALERT today (Oct. 22)

TCU will test TCU ALERT today, Wednesday, Oct. 22 between 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. A test message will be sent via text message, campuswide e-mail and voice message to pre-identified University business lines. Please note – campus members who have registered their cell phone numbers in the service will receive the text message from number 89361. All campus members, regardless of cell phone registration, will receive the test e-mail from TCU_ALERT@tcu.edu. Please make sure to reply to either the text or e-mail message as requested. If you have not yet added your cell phone number, please go to the home page at www.tcu.edu and click on the TCU ALERT button located on the lower left side of the page. Follow the instructions to add your cell number. Remember in an emergency, TCU will use the following methods to communicate with campus:

• Recorded information line (817-257-4636)
• E-mails
• TCU ALERT
• Media

Additionally, TCU now has a Twitter page (www.twitter.com/tcu). News and event information about TCU are posted on a regular basis to the Twitter site.
