Schieffer School/CSIS hosting dialogue on "Assessing U.S. Policy Toward Russia"

TCU's Schieffer School of Journalism and the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington, DC are holding a dialogue titled "Assessing U.S. Policy Toward Russia in the Wake of the Russia-Georgia Conflict” Tuesday, October 21 at 5:30 p.m. EDT. The dialogue, hosted by Bob Schieffer, will be broadcast live on the Schieffer School Web site at 4:30 p.m. local time.

The series of monthly dialogues, originated in February, feature top public policy experts, government officials, leading think-tank scholars, and prominent journalists discussing issues related to national security, foreign policy and global challenges.

Featured speakers at the event are Alexander “Sandy” Vershbow, former U.S. Ambassador to Russia; Jim Hoagland, The Washington Post associate editor and chief foreign correspondent; and Andrew Kuchins, director of the CSIS Russia & Eurasia Program.

CSIS is a bipartisan, independent, nonprofit organization that provides strategic insights and policy solutions to decision makers in government, international institutions, the private sector and civil society.
