TCU presents symposium on “Conversations with John Tagg”

TCU’s Koehler Center for Teaching Excellence is hosting a symposium with John Tagg, an expert in the higher education learning paradigm. “Conversations with John Tagg” will be held Friday, Oct. 5 from 4 to 8:30 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 6 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Participants may register for either time.
The symposium will be held in the Dee J. Kelly Alumni & Visitors Center, located at 2820 Stadium Drive, and will comprise a small group conversation with the speaker, followed by a meal and keynote address. Registration is free for TCU faculty/staff and students; non-TCU attendees will incur a small registration fee.
John Tagg is a professor at Palomar College, located in San Marcos, CA, and the author of The Learning Paradigm College. The symposium is designed to be interactive. Tagg will discuss with participants the shift in higher education learning from the Instructional Paradigm to the Learning Paradigm.
