Construction has begun on the new Brown-Lupton University Union

TCU has begun construction of the new Brown-Lupton University Union. The union will complete the Campus Commons area, which also includes four new residence halls. The $100 million project is a result of a Vision in Action grant and is a step toward turning the campus into a pedestrian-friendly, residential community.

The multi-level University Union will feature many exciting amenities, including a 350-seat theater for films, lectures and performances; multiple indoor and outdoor dining options; a post office; convenience store; a new ballroom; a conference center and work and office space for students and staff.

The University Union is scheduled to be complete in summer 2008. To see architectural drawings of the University Union, go to www.tcu.edu and click on the Parking and Campus Construction link located on the lower left-hand side.
