Jean Mrasek started at TCU on August 23 and immediately turned her attention to preparations related to the annual Leap Frog event held on September 28. Jean comes to TCU with background in higher education as well as non-profit areas. She served as Friends and Major Gifts Manager at the Dallas Arboretum for two years, where she grew the Friends circle of donors and launched a new under-40 donor program called Junior Friends. Jean worked for nine years in undergraduate admissions at her alma mater, The University of Tulsa. She has extensive volunteer and leadership experience as the former National President of Chi Omega Fraternity. Jean holds a B.A. degree in Advertising/Public Relations and M.A. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from The University of Tulsa. Jean and her husband, Michael, live in Southlake and have three children—Allison (21), Nicholas (18), and Elizabeth (12). With her family heritage in education, Jean is excited to represent the TCU College of Education and looks forward to pursuing opportunities and building donor relationships.
