Communication Studies develops a program in parliamentary debate

The Department of Communication Studies is developing a co-curricular program in debate and extemporaneous speaking. Carrie Moore, lecturer in Communication Studies and faculty sponsor of the program, will take a group of outstanding speakers to a debate tournament this fall, with more tournament opportunities planned for spring. The department is currently seeking a “Convener of Debates” to facilitate a variety of different debate and discussion experiences for TCU students, faculty and guests of the University.
