TCU moved up two ranks in the 2012 U.S. News & World Report rankings of national universities from 99 to 97. In addition, the College of Science & Engineering was ranked as a top 40 program among engineering schools whose highest degree is a bachelor’s or a master’s, and TCU was listed as an A-plus school for B students. Also, the Neeley School of Business'  undergraduate business program jumped 19 places to No. 69 in the 2012 U.S. News & World Report ranking of the Best Undergraduate Business Programs. U.S. News & World Report lists TCU as tied for No. 69 out of 633 business schools accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), according to a survey of deans and senior faculty at each of the 633 AACSB accredited schools.

Earlier this year, The Chronicle of Higher Education recognized TCU as one of 42 Great Colleges to Work For and Fort Worth, Texas magazine named us the Hottest School in Texas. In addition to winning the Rose Bowl, all this represents a stellar year of recognition for TCU.

While TCU’s U.S. News & World Report ranking continues to improve, this ranking is just one indicator of the University’s progress toward becoming a world-class, values-centered university. TCU recently has made significant strides in many areas – student applications are up, new academic programs have been established, new living and learning facilities have transformed the physical campus and TCU raised $149 million over its original $250 million campaign goal. In short, TCU is providing students with an unparalleled university experience, and as a result, it is being recognized as a top national university.
