Performance psychologist helps athletes, musicians, business pros perform their best under competitive stress

The TCU School of Music will host Dr. Bill Moore,  performance psychology specialist,  Sept. 21-23.    In addition to daily workshops,  Dr. Moore will present lecture on “Performing Your Best When It Counts” at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21 in PepsiCo Recital Hall. All events are free and open to the public.

Dr. Moore, president of Moore Performance Consulting, helps musicians, athletes and business professionals learn to perform at optimum levels under competitive stress.   He approaches performance as a mental performance skill and explores the topics of courage, trust, and acceptance.  

He serves as Director of Performance Psychology for the University of Oklahoma Athletics Department, specifically working with the golf team.  In the OU School of Music, he also teaches Performance Psychology for Musicians, one of the most sought after courses for performers in the School of Music to enroll.
