TCU Business Network of Dallas hosts CEO of Super Bowl XLV Host Committee on April 5

Bill Lively, President and CEO of the North Texas Super Bowl XLV Host Committee, will be the featured speaker at the TCU Business Network of Dallas luncheon on Tuesday, April 5, at the Northwood Club, 6524 Alpha Road, 11:30am – 1:00pm, presented by the Neeley School of Business at TCU and the TCU Alumni Association. The North Texas Super Bowl XLV Host Committee was responsible for designing and managing the comprehensive regional plan for North Texas’ first Super Bowl, addressing issues such as public safety, transportation and aviation, and sponsoring development, education and volunteer recruitment. The Committee was responsible for generating sponsorships and revenue to support it $40 million budget, recruiting and training thousands of volunteers, and planning and producing events throughout the region that attracted thousands of visitors to North Texas and generated hundreds of millions of dollars in economic impact.
Lively is well known in the Metroplex as a very successful fundraiser. During his tenure as founding President and CEO of the Dallas Center for the Performing Arts, the Center raised more than $334 million to construct the venues, including 129 gifts of $1 million and above, the most gifts at the million-dollar threshold ever generated by a capital campaign to build cultural facilities in America’s history. Lively also spent 25 years on the faculty and in the administration of SMU, and, concurrently for 23 years, for the Dallas Cowboys.
