Bell Helicopter CEO speaks at Tandy Executive Speaker Series April 26

John Garrison Jr., CEO of Bell Helicopter, will visit the TCU campus for the Tandy Executive Speaker Series, hosted by O. Homer Erekson, John V. Roach Dean of the Neeley School of Business at TCU. The breakfast event will take place Tuesday, April 26, 2011, 7:30-9 a.m., at the Brown Lupton University Union, 2901 Stadium Drive. Tickets are $20 each, which includes breakfast. John Garrison was named Bell Helicopter’s president and chief executive officer in July 2009. Prior to joining Bell, he served as president of Textron's Industrial segment, which comprises four businesses: E-Z-GO, Greenlee, Jacobsen and Kautex. Before that, he was president of E-Z-GO.
Garrison joined Textron in 2002 from Azurix Corporation, a global water company, where he was chairman, president and CEO. He previously was vice president and general manager of Case Corporation's North American Agricultural Group. In addition to serving 10 years in the U.S. Army as an Airborne Ranger qualified artilleryman, Garrison taught in the Department of Social Sciences at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, N.Y. He earned his MBA from Harvard University, and his bachelor’s degree in engineering from West Point.
