Schieffer School of Journalism to co-host conference for nonprofit communicators May 20

The Schieffer School of Journalism will co-host the DFW Nonprofit Communicators Conference from 8:45 a.m.-3:45 p.m. Friday, May 20, in the Brown-Lupton University Union, 2901 Stadium Drive on the Texas Christian University campus. The conference provides education, resources and networking opportunities in a convenient full-day format of interactive workshops. Workshop topics will include social media, legal policies and measurement, board advocacy and engagement, crisis communication and more. A branding master class, which is limited to 12 people, will be led by TCU Schieffer School of Journalism graphic design and advertising expert Bill Johnson.

The conference is organized by The Volunteer Center of North Texas, TCU’s Schieffer School of Journalism and Neeley School of Business and the Office of Diversity and Community Engagement at UT Dallas.
