TCU is closed Wednesday, Feb. 9 for icy weather conditions. All University (non-athletic) events are cancelled.

Employees providing essential services related to (1) health and safety, (2) the presence of a residential student community and (3) agreements with the public for the use of University facilities must still report for work at the regular time.

It is also possible that some areas of Tarrant County will be more severely affected than others, so even if the University remains open later this week, keep personal safety uppermost in your mind. If you know your route to campus will be treacherous, do not attempt to make a dangerous trip.

Services available on campus:

  • Market Square is open and will maintain its regular hours today (until 9 p.m.).
  • Union Grounds is open.
  • The BLUU is open regular hours (7 a.m. - 2 a.m.) and will have activities throughout the day.
  • The Brown-Lupton Health Center is open from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. offering limited services with limited personnel.
  • The University Rec Center is open today from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Group Ex classes and Intramural games are cancelled.
