TCU accepts invitation to 97th Rose Bowl

No. 3 TCU has accepted an invitation to face No. 5 Wisconsin Jan. 1 in the 97th Rose Bowl Game presented by VIZIO.

The "Granddaddy of Them All®" will kick off from Pasadena, Calif., at 2:10 p.m. PST with the game televised by ESPN.

The third-ranked Horned Frogs (12-0), having posted their second consecutive undefeated regular season, will be making their first appearance in the Rose Bowl. It's the second straight year TCU has played in a BCS game.

Another highlight of the trip for TCU fans will be the appearance of the Horned Frog Marching Band in the annual Tournament of Roses Parade that stretches for seven miles through Pasadena on New Year's morning.
