Director Peter Bogdanovich visits FTDM students

Peter Bogdanovich, the Academy Award-nominated director of The Last Picture Show, Paper Moon and What’s Up, Doc, lectured to Film, TV, Digital Media (FTDM) students on Friday, Nov. 12 at 2 p.m. in Moudy Building South, room 164. In addition to his extensive work as a director (including 29 Hollywood films) Bogdanovich is also a noted film historian, writer, actor and producer. His is appearing at TCU in conjunction with Fort Worth’s Lone Star Film Festival.  Prior to the visit, students were treated to a screening of Paper Moon, the 1973 hit that made its co-star Tatum O’Neal the youngest recipient of an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.
