Neeley announces Tandy Executive Speaker Series

The Tandy Executive Speaker Series hosts prominent business leaders to disseminate leading-edge thought to Metroplex business professionals, Neeley MBA students and faculty in order to improve the practice of business.  All events take place at 7:30 - 9 a.m. at the Brown-Lupton University Union ballroom, 3rd floor.  Cost is $20 per person or $250 for a table of 8.  Students and faculty attend free.  Breakfast is included.

Oct. 6 -  Jeff Morris,  chairman and CEO, Alon USA. With more than 30 years of experience, Morris joined Alon USA when it was formed in 2000 after Alon Israel Oil Co. purchased the downstream operations of Atofina Petrochemicals Inc. Morris oversees Alon USA’s businesses, which include four refineries, pipeline operations, terminal networks, asphalt production and branded fuel marketing activities. In this capacity, Morris focuses on growth and acquisition opportunities. He began his career with FINA in 1974 after graduating from Texas Tech with a degree in chemical engineering. Morris serves on the boards of the Dallas Center for the Performing Arts, The Trinity Trust, and Communities in Schools. Under his leadership, Alon established a $1 million endowment to benefit Communities in Schools’ stay-in-school program.
