University announces launch of newly redesigned website, www.tcu.edu.

TCU has launched its updated and improved official website at http://www.tcu.edu/.

 

“After using the current website for several years, it was time for an update,” said Victor Neil, director of Website Management. “We are very excited about the new look and functionality.”

 

The new tcu.edu website retains all major functions of the previous website version, with added navigation features such as a new video library and improved functionality of campus maps.  TCU’s News and Events web page also has a new look to match. TCU worked with Ardent Creative Inc to re-design and build both sites.

 

The decision to update the current website was based on research on functionality and usability.  TCU is also working on a user-friendly mobile site allowing users to access the site from mobile devices and machines that are not Flash-enabled.

 

TCU will re-evaluate the website periodically to keep up with changing trends. The new website will play a vital role in helping the university reach all of its constituencies.
