Mitch Albom spoke at TCU

Mitch Albom, best-selling author, spoke at TCU on Thursday, October 15 at 6:30 p.m. at the Dee J. Kelly Alumni & Visitors Center. A book signing was held immediately following his speech. The event was free and open to the public.
Mitch Albom is a best-selling author, nationally syndicated columnist, radio host and network television commentator. He is the author of 11 books, including the phenomenal best-sellers The Five People You Meet in Heaven, Tuesdays With Morrie and his newest novel, Have a Little Faith.
Tuesdays With Morrie spent four straight years at the top of the New York Times best-sellers list and is now the best-selling memoir of all time, with nearly 11 million copies sold. The television movie based on the book was the most-watched TV movie of 1999. A play co-written by Mr. Albom and based on Tuesdays With Morrie has been performed off-Broadway and in regional theaters throughout North America.
Mr. Albom has been named the No. 1 sports columnist in the nation by the Sports Editors of America, the highest honor in the sports-writing field. He has won more than 100 writing awards from AP, UPI, the Headliners Club, the National Sports Writers and Broadcasters Associations and others.
A panelist on ESPN’s Sports Reporters, which is seen every Sunday by a nationwide audience, Mr. Albom also hosts two popular radio programs that reach 38 states: The Mitch Albom Show and The Monday Sports Albom.
