Robert P. Leone appointed co-editor of "Journal of Marketing"

Robert P. Leone, Wilson Chair and Professor of Marketing at the Neeley School of Business at TCU, was named co-editor of the prestigious Journal of Marketing effective Sept. 1, 2009.
The premier publication for marketing academic professionals, the Journal of Marketing covers research related to all aspects of marketing, from advertising, sales and pricing, to brand management, distribution and ethics. The journal bridges the gap between marketing theory and practical application for the marketing community. Established in 1936, Journal of Marketing has been the recognized leader in its field for more than seven decades.
“Dr. Leone’s accomplishments in the field of marketing are a boon to both the Neeley School and the editorial staff of the Journal of Marketing,” said O. Homer Erekson, dean of the Neeley School of Business at TCU. “His dedication to research and teaching epitomizes the drive for excellence that business students need to succeed.”
The J. Vaughn and Evelyne H. Wilson Chair at TCU, Dr. Leone is a renowned expert in evaluating the effects of advertising, price and promotion on market performance, as well as branding and brand equity, consumer valuation, and packaged goods marketing. His research has been published in the most selective academic journals such as the Journal of Marketing, the Journal of Marketing Research and Marketing Science, as well as in the Harvard Business Review. Dr. Leone holds a Ph.D. from Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management.
