5/19/2009
Neeley School of Business alumni chose Dr. Bill Moncrief, senior associate dean and Charles F. and Alann P. Bedford Professor of International Business, as the 2009 Alumni Professor of the Year. Neeley’s alumni organization began the annual award in 2006 to honor outstanding faculty.
Dr. Moncrief teaches international marketing to MBA and undergraduate students, basic marketing, and a marketing core class for the EMBA program. He holds a B.S. in political science and an MBA from the University of Mississippi, and a Ph.D. from Louisiana State University.
“I have the perfect job,” said Dr. Moncrief. “Neeley and TCU are home to terrific students who are motivated and a joy to be around. I genuinely look forward to class and the opportunity to interact with them. I can’t imagine lecturing to classes of hundreds with no chance to get to know the individual student.”
As the Alumni Professor of the Year, Dr. Moncrief will speak at Neeley alumni chapter events throughout the 2009-10 academic year.
Previous recipients of the Neeley Alumni Professor of the Year are: Rob Rhodes, Chris Barry and Larry Lockwood.
