Nancy Nix, formerly director of the Supply and Value Chain Center at the Neeley School of Business at TCU, will move to the Executive MBA program as executive director in August 2009, announced O. Homer Erekson, John V. Roach Dean of the Neeley School of Business at TCU.
Dr. Nix will provide the overall direction for the design and delivery of the TCU EMBA program, including long-range plans. Responsibilities include consulting with the dean, associate dean for graduate programs and department chairs to lead the academic component of the program, including curriculum planning and review, assessment, identification of qualified faculty, class scheduling, and facilitating integration of curricula across faculty and course modules. This will include establishing an EMBA Policy Committee responsible for curriculum review and approval, and oversight of appropriate EMBA policies, standards, marketing, staff and budget.
Dr. Nix joined the Neeley School of Business at TCU in 2001. An associate professor of professional practice, she has taught in both the MBA and EMBA programs, and has been involved with executive education throughout her career.
“Nancy has excellent experience in the corporate sector and has built a very strong network of partners for our Supply and Value Chain Center,” Dr. Erekson said. “We look forward to the leadership, partnerships, strategies and standards she will bring to the TCU EMBA program.”
Dr. Laura Meade and Carrie Kemmer will serve as co-directors of the Supply and Value Chain Center until a new director is named.
