Miro String Quartet will perform on campus April 6

The School of Music "Faculty and Friends" Chamber Music Series is set for Monday, April 6 at 7:30 p.m. in PepsiCo Recital Hall. A program by the Miro String Quartet will feature Michael Meckna of the TCU music faculty as program annotator, according to Jesús Castro-Balbi, artistic director for the series.
Janacek’s String Quartet No. 2 “Intimate Letters” will be performed by the Miro ensemble (Daniel Ching, Sandy Yamamoto, John Largess and Joshua Gindele); they will be joined by pianist John Owings in Mozart’s Piano Quartet in G Minor and, in Schubert’s String Quintet in C Major by cellist Castro-Balbi.
Admission is free with a TCU ID. General admission is $10, $5 for seniors and students.
