TCU Schieffer School appoints director of internships

Mary Dulle, APR, Fellow PRSA, has been appointed director of internships for the TCU Schieffer School of Journalism. Dulle will work with students and corporations locally and around the country to find opportunities to enhance the learning experience while providing value to the companies.
“We’re delighted to have someone with Mary’s combination of teaching and professional experience,” said John Tisdale, interim director of the Schieffer School. “She’ll bring the internship program up to the level of excellence we expect in the Schieffer School.”
Dulle has served as an adjunct instructor in public relations at TCU since 1998. She retired from Alcon Laboratories as director of public relations in 2005. During her career, she also served in public relations capacities at American Airlines, PR/Texas and the Fort Worth Independent School District. She holds a B.A. degree from the University of Dallas and a M.A. degree from the University of North Texas.
An accredited member of the Public Relations Society of America, Dulle was elected to the College of Fellows in 2002. She is a past president of the Fort Worth PRSA chapter and currently serves as student liaison. She has also served as president of the Fort Worth chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators and of the Berkeley Place Neighborhood Association. She is a member of the Fort Worth chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists and has served on the boards of Jubilee Theatre, Stage West and the Mimir Chamber Music Festival.
The Schieffer School internship program is available to students from all majors including: Strategic Communication, News-Editorial and Broadcast Journalism. Academic credit is available for those who qualify. For more information, contact Mary Dulle at m.dulle@tcu.edu.
