Dance professor named Fulbright Senior Specialist

Susan Douglas Roberts, associate professor of modern dance in School for Classical & Contemporary Dance at TCU, has been selected for a Fulbright Senior Specialists project in Taiwan for the Fall 2008 semester. She will be at Taipei National University of the Arts, working on choreography, technique and improvisation with MFA graduate dance candidates.

Roberts is one of more than 400 U.S. faculty and professionals who will travel abroad this year through the Fulbright Senior Specialists Program, created in 2000 to complement the traditional Fulbright Scholar Program. It provides short-term academic opportunities to prominent U.S. faculty and professionals to support curricular and faculty development and institutional planning at post secondary academic institutions around the world.
